Many African American girls struggle with self-esteem issues, specifically during the school year. Many of those issues are directly connected to their hair. With the beauty industry ever changing and social media on a constant rise, many of inner-city youth are met with the pressure of looking a certain way. We know how important it is for young children to be fully prepared, both externally and internally so that they can show up as their best selves, both in and out of the classroom.
Tiffany Stylez, Hair Inspired by Ciarra, and The Natural Hair Experience, all Hair Salons in the Tampa area, have partnered to bring you, Back to School Hair Care Experience. A collective event designed to bridge the gap between, hair care and self-esteem. We will be providing young girls, aged 10-16 with the opportunity for a full salon hair care experience for the 2023-24 school year. Full Scalp analysis, shampoo, treatment, braids, hair styling, and hair education will be provided at zero cost.
